| We are an Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of AFS Intercultural Programs, enriching lives through high school student exchanges.
We're part of the AFS DelMarPa Area Team, which serves Delaware, Eastern Shore Maryland, and the eastern part of Pennsylvania.
You may know us as the American Field Service--our high school student exchange programs date back to 1947.
Our chapter covers the Pennridge and Souderton Area school districts and neighboring communities in eastern Pennsylvania. |

In addition to our ongoing core programs, AFS works with some
special programs.
The Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) originated in the Freedom
Support Act of 1992 and provides full scholarships for students from
countries of the former Soviet Union. Partnerships for Learning Youth
Exchange and Study Program (YES) focuses on students from primarily-Muslim
countries. And the Congress-Bundestag (CB) exchange with Germany provides
scholarships for German students to come to the US and US students to
study in Germany. Here's where to learn more about special
